Peter Herbeck is the Executive Vice President and Director of Missions for Renewal Ministries. For more than thirty years, he has been actively involved in evangelization and Catholic renewal throughout the US, Canada, Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe. Peter is the co-host of the weekly television show, The Choices We Face. He hosts the daily radio show Fire on the Earth. He is a frequent conference speaker, has authored When the Spirit Comes in Power, When the Spirit Speaks, and numerous booklets, and is a frequent contributor to Renewal Ministries’ popular YouTube channel. Peter and his wife, Debbie, have four children and nine grandchildren, and reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Dr. Mary Healy works with Renewal Ministries as a special consultant. She is a professor of Scripture at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit and serves as chair of the Doctrinal Commission of International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (ICCRS). Her doctorate is in Biblical theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. She is a member of the Pentecostal-Catholic International Dialogue, and she speaks nationally and internationally. She was appointed by Pope Francis as one of the first three women ever to serve on the Pontifical Biblical Commission.
Dr. Healy has published numerous books, including Healing: Bringing the Gift of God’s Mercy to the World. Renewal Ministries has produced two CDs of Peter Herbeck's interviews with Dr. Healy, Does Jesus Still Heal? and Made for Relationship: A Biblical Understanding of Homosexual Behavior.
Director of Music Ministry at large Catholic parish in suburban Detroit. Choose music and lead worship for 4 weekend masses and all special masses/services/weddings/funerals. Work with pastor, deacons and extended staff to develop and expand music program to minister to a wide range of ages/ tastes, including traditional and contemporary styles. Recruit and train singers and instrumentalists. Direct adult choir and Catholic school (K-8) choir. Work with school principal to minister to students using technology (Easy Worship, projector/screen) and more contemporary music. Manage equipment, order music, work with finance director in creating and implementing music dept. budget. Present special evangelization programs to stir the hearts of my fellow Catholics. Remain joyful, peaceful, focused when things go crazy, trying to remember it is, yes, a job, but more importantly, a ministry. Thank you Jesus!
Fr. Patrick Gonyeau is a priest from Detroit who is on fire. After four years of priesthood, he experienced a breakthrough surge of stunning healings in ministry that changed his life, convincing him that Jesus loves to give his disciples power to share the gospel and power to heal (Mark 16:18). He carries an infectious joy, inspiring faith, a passion for healing and a unique grace to equip and activate believers into the healing ministry of Jesus.
Debbie Herbeck has shared with many her personal journey of faith from Judaism to Christianity and subsequent entrance into the Catholic Church. For the past forty years, Debbie has worked extensively in youth and women’s ministry, speaking, leading mission trips, and mentoring high school and college age women. She has spoken at Franciscan University Conferences, Legatus chapters, and women’s events throughout the world. She is the founder and executive director of Pine Hills Girls Camp. Debbie is also the founder and director of the Be Love Revolution, a ministry that exists to help young women encounter Christ and be His love to all they meet.
She has written Safely Through the Storm: 120 Reflections on Hope, Firmly on the Rock: 120 Reflections on Faith, and Love Never Fails: 120 Reflections on Love. She and her husband Peter have co-authored a book entitled When the Spirit Speaks: Touched by God’s Word. Debbie is a frequent author and speaker for Blessed is She and contributing writer for Undone: Freeing your Feminine Heart from the Knots of Fear and Shame.
Deacon Terry J. Saunders St. Anne Parish, Escanaba, MI Diocese of Marquette Deacon Terry was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on May 21, 2010 in the Diocese of Marquette in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. His ministries include working for drug and alcohol addicted persons in the U.P., healing prayer, marriage preparation, President of the Irving C. “Francis” Houle Association, assisting at Parish liturgy, Holy Communion to the sick and homebound, Board Member Catholic Social Services Diocese of Marquette, husband, father, and “Papa” to a dozen grandchildren. Deacon Terry is a veteran of the U.S. Army as well as the Michigan Army National Guard. He also served 25 years as a Michigan State Police O6cer, including 18 years as a Field Detective, 3 years federal drug interdiction task force, and 18 years SWAT. He was also employed by Northern Michigan University as an Instructor at their Regional Police Academy for many years. After retiring from police work in 2005, he managed a St. Vincent De Paul warehouse and clothing recycling business for 10 years. His work there included caring for the homeless and prisoner re-entry. Along the way Deacon Terry studied at several different small colleges and 3 years at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI. Deacon Terry’s greatest love after Jesus is his wife of 48 years, Hildie, and their 3 children and 12 grandchildren. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, reading, and following his grandchildren’s exploits.
